You can achieve greatness and be part of the life of your community of patients by being a professional and compassionate nurse. The graduate nurse practices holistic nursing incorporating biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and wellness concepts.
The Nursing program is designed to prepare the student for an entry-level career as a professional nurse. The well-rounded and balanced education will introduce the student to a broad range of subjects such as communication and natural sciences. The program includes a challenging curriculum, encompassing nursing communications, nursing management, nursing fundamentals, patient assessment and clinical practice. The curriculum is designed to provide the competency based, outcome oriented didactic, laboratory and clinical experience including the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to become a Registered Nurse.

The Professional Nurse Remedial has been designed in accordance with Florida Rules as set forth in 64B9-3.0025 Remedial Courses for Reexamination. The program design includes training in testing strategies, physiological and psychological testing aspects, construction and design of the examination and of all the prescribed areas of training and testing of professional nurses.
Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate will be prepared with the testing strategies, and practical nursing knowledge to pass the NCLEX-RN examination.
