Entrance Requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. If under the age of 18 at the time of enrollment, a parent or guardian must enroll the applicant.  Students must be 18 years of age at the time of graduation.

 
  • The applicant must provide proof of high school graduation. Acceptable documentation includes a copy of a high school diploma, transcript, GED certificate, or equivalent. A completed higher education degree may also be used to verify high school  graduation.
  • Prospective students must be beyond the age of compulsory education (18 years old) at the time of graduation. Submit Application for Admissions and Fee.
  • For students who are 17 years of age or under, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the Enrollment Agreement.
  • Submission of a completed application and required documentation. 
  • Pay all fees required for enrollment.
 
The following data will be utilized by the admissions department in evaluating the qualifications of candidates for admission:
 
1. Applicants must have an active unencumbered Florida registered nurse license. 
2. Evidence of an AA or AS conferred degree with a minimum of 60 semester credits.  
3. Completion of entrance examination with a minimum passing score of 70%.
4. Interview with the Director of Nursing or designee. 
5. Two professional letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation should include contact information. 
6. *Transfer Credit – Official college transcripts for all colleges attended and for all courses taken for transfer must have an overall GPA of 2.6 or higher on a 4.0 to be considered for transfer.

The main objective of the RN to BSN program is to provide excellent educational background so that its graduates are able to successfully and proficiently:

Disclosure: The RN-to BSN Degree Program is a Post-Licensing program in Florida, and does not require a Licensure Exam. The RN-to-BSN program is Licensed by the Commission for Independent Education and does not require Florida Board of Nursing license or NCLEX ® Program Code.
